A little bit from the director of MAC Accounting
Hi, I’m Max Child, founder and director of MAC Accounting. I’m a Chartered Certified Accountant with a degree in Accounting and Finance, and I’ve been working in the profession since 2011 — slowly perfecting the art of making spreadsheets look exciting.
Before starting my own firm, I worked as a senior manager at a well-respected chartered tax advisory and accounting practice, where I gained invaluable experience helping individuals and businesses stay on the right side of HMRC while making smart, tax-efficient decisions.
I’m passionate about building strong, long-term relationships with my clients and making sure they not only meet their accounting and tax obligations but also understand how good advice can support their future success.
When I’m not working, I’m usually being kept on my toes by my five-year-old, or trying to stay vaguely competitive through tennis, golf, the gym, and my latest hobby — padel tennis. These hobbies keep me fit, energised, and offer a much-needed break from staring at numbers all day.
